Obtained seed money from County Supervisor Kathrin Sears

We had several meetings with Supervisor Sears and her staff, resulting in a $5000 grant as seed money for our non-profit organization.

Proud to be partnered with San Rafael Downtown Streets Team
A win-win.  This organization based in San Rafael helps homeless and low-income men and women rebuild their lives.  They will be cleaning our Strawberry frontage roads and surrounding areas as funding permits.  For more information visit them at  Downtown Streets Team

Initiated fundraising campaign to support Marin Clean Highways
100% of funds received pay our contractor to clean and maintain designated areas.  Several businesses and residents have generously donated funds to keep our organization afloat.  We estimate the cost of maintenance to be approximately $20,000 over the next two years.  Our long term goal is to include a beautification plan.  Click HERE to see our list of donors to date.

Working with other like-minded environmental groups
We  are working with Clean Mill Valley, a group of volunteers from surrounding communities, to conquer litter as a consortium.  Members of this group include volunteers from Bloom-a-thon, San Rafael Clean, Streamkeepers and MV Chamber of Commerce.  www.cleanmv.org
